From the snow covered Himalayas to the coastal regions of the south from deserts to fertile plains every part of India reflects a different way of life yet all are connected by a shared identity. One of the most striking features of Indian society is its cultural diversity. India is home to multiple religions including Hinduism Islam Christianity Sikhism Buddhism and Jainism. Each religion has its own beliefs practices festivals and ways of living. Despite these differences  in India often live together peacefully celebrating each others festivals and respecting different traditions.
